Melissa Zehner - NC Senate 1st District

My grandfather was an Eastern North Carolina native and a tobacco farmer. I am the daughter of a public school teacher and a small business owner. When I was 6 months old, my parents brought me to the Outer Banks for the first time, and I spent time here every summer following that one. The Outer Banks were the only place my father ever wanted to be in the summer — this place was the dream. Now we are raising our family here, and we call this place home.
Jenny Wells - District Court 1st District

A native Northeastern North Carolinian, Judge Jenny is a proud graduate of Dare County Public Schools. She earned her undergraduate degree from Tulane University and her law degree from Campbell University School of Law before returning home to serve the community that raised her.

Sam Davis III - NC House of Representatives 5th District

Sam Davis is a Pasquotank County Commissioner and longtime public servant focused on delivering practical solutions for Northeastern North Carolina. With decades of community leadership, Sam is running for the North Carolina House to lower costs for working families, support strong public schools, and ensure rural communities get

Charles Jordan - County Commissioner

Charles H. Jordan was born in Currituck County, NC. He is the oldest of three sons born to the late Charlie and Annie Marie Jordan who were life long residents of Currituck County. He was a valedictorian graduate of Currituck Union High School. He matriculated at North Carolina A & T State University where he earned a degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting. He also served his country in the Air National Guard.
