Your considered Vote matters!

Pasquotank County is my home, I didn't step into local political leadership to play partisan games.
We deserve leaders who describe issues plainly, respect our intelligence, and deliver results—whether that’s better-paying jobs, strong public schools, reliable infrastructure, or affordable healthcare.
We have dedicated proven leaders at the top of the ticket, like Roy Cooper and Congressman Don Davis, who work tirelessly for Eastern North Carolina's working families, farmers, and rural communities. But our responsibility doesn't end at the top line of the ballot.
Take a look at all the candidates. We have a great team. Our people are not perfect, but they really match up well compared to their competition. Take a look. I know our people deserve your vote, but your vote is what really matters.
Down-ballot races for state level supreme and superior court judges and state and local representatives, county commissioners, school board members, and local judges shape our daily lives. Electing fair-minded, balanced public servants ensures our legal system treats everyone equally and the elected local government representatives have a direct impact on your life. Don't just look at the top of the ticket.
We don't have to agree on every detail to agree on what matters most: honesty, community, fairness, and accountability over political noise.
Regardless of your party affiliation, please make a plan to vote in this upcoming election. Check your registration, take an open look at the candidates, bring a neighbor, and send a clear message about the kind of leadership Pasquotank County expects and deserves.
Oh, and there are 3 constitutional amendments on the ballot. Vote NO to all three. They sound good, but they take away some of our local rights, and the effects on our lives could be brutal. Check out what the League of Women Voters and other non-partisan sites have to say.
